What should I expect from Personal Training?
Start Strong with a Free Consultation Your journey begins with a complimentary one-on-one session—designed to dive deep into your goals, assess your current fitness level, and explore any potential challenges. It’s your chance to discover how Docherty Wellbeing can support you in building lasting results.
Tailored Training That Fits Your Lifestyle Choose between one or two weekly face-to-face sessions with your dedicated Personal Trainer, held in our private, fully equipped fitness suite. You’ll also receive a customised training plan to follow independently, along with expert guidance on nutrition, recovery, and lifestyle strategies to keep you progressing between sessions.
And if injury ever sidelines your training, you can seamlessly swap your PT session for a targeted rehabilitation treatment—because wellbeing is about flexibility, too.
Flexible Options to Suit Every Schedule Prefer to train occasionally or as part of a small team? Book single sessions as needed, or join a small group of 2–3 for shared motivation and results.
What should I wear for a Personal Training session?
Each session (including the consultation) will involve physical activity of some sort, so you should wear clothing and footwear suitable for being active. You will usually get sweaty, so wear something you are happy to wash each time, and wear layers that can be gradually removed as you warm up during the session.
You should also bring a water bottle with you to drink from during the session as needed, and a small towel to wipe away excess sweat.
If unsure of the suitability of an item, feel free to ask the Personal Trainer.
